Proceeds Handover & 2016 Date Announced!

On behalf of the Clanwilliam Pharmacist Awards, we are delighted to present to the Pharmacy Benevolent Fund the total sum raised from our 2015 ceremony last November: an incredible €67,400.

We would like to thank all the attendees, sponsors and supporters of the 2015 Pharmacist Awards for making this possible.

The Pharmacy Benevolent Fund supports members of the pharmacist community in need of assistance. In the past, the Benevolent Fund has provided support to a variety of recipients in need, from those unable to work following an illness or unexpected death of a family member to those requiring financial aid after retirement. The Benevolent Fund also extends its support beyond the pharmacy community and includes cases from members and their families across the Healthcare Industry as a whole. It is the generosity and mutual support of everyone in this unique and socially inclusive community that makes such support possible and it is a credit to Irish pharmacists.

We are also pleased to confirm that the 2016 Pharmacist Awards will take place on Saturday November 26th 2016 at the Mansion House, Dublin. This has been heralded as the “highlight of the pharmacy year” and has grown to become an exceptional evening of celebration, recognising the extraordinary work and commitment of those within the Irish pharmacist community.

More details including nomination and ticket information will be sent out in due course but please keep an eye on http://www.pharmacistawards.com for any announcements in the meantime.

"The important work of the Pharmacy Benevolent Fund is strongly supported by the proceeds from the Clanwilliam Pharmacist Awards. We are extremely grateful to all sponsors, volunteers, attendees and those who support the awards in any way. We extend our warm congratulations to all winners."
